Pacific Ridge Reports on Corporate Matters

VANCOUVER - Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. (TSX Venture: PEX) ("Pacific Ridge" or the "Company") reports the results of its 2014 Annual General Meeting. At the meeting all ordinary resolutions placed before the meeting were passed. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chartered Accountants were re-appointed as auditors of the Company and shareholders ratified the Company's rolling stock option plan as well as its Advance Notice Policy.

Shareholders elected Gerald G. Carlson to join incumbents John S. Brock, C. Douglas Proctor, R.E. Gordon Davis and Bruce Youngman as directors of the Company for the ensuing year. Sargent Berner did not stand for re-election and the Company thanks him for his valuable and dedicated service as a director over many years. 

Following the Annual General Meeting, the Board of Directors appointed Gerald G. Carlson as President and Chief Executive Officer while John S. Brock will continue serving Pacific Ridge as Chairman. 

Gerry Carlson stated, "John has led Pacific Ridge for 37 years and through many exploration successes, the most recent of which was the exciting new discovery of the Skookum Gold Zone on the Mariposa property in the White Gold District, Yukon. I am honoured to be able to follow in his footsteps and I am very pleased that he will continue with a strong presence in the Company." 

Lei Wang was re-appointed Chief Financial Officer and Arie Page was re-appointed Corporate Secretary.
